The ZignX RFID solution means the user can be automatically identified and logged on to a system simply by entering a proximity zone. The solution relieves the user from the traditional frequent and distracting log-on procedures.

The solution involves the user to wear a credit card size ZignX Radio Token, which can be worn easily e.g. under clean suit. Only at the initial log-on must the user enter a PIN-code to identify him or herself to the system.
Once the user is identified the ZignX RFID module can automatically lock and un-lock a system as the user leaves or enters a specified range.

This leaves the user unburdened by the security system, yet it maintains uncompromised access control security. The solution can handle numerous users simultaneously, and is adjustable to accommodate individual user requirements and environments.

The ZignX RFID module can be used on almost any type of equipment and combined with the Zignx OP module to control access to operating panels. As with the OP module the RFID module is attached to the ZignX Medical unit using one of its utility ports. The integrated solution can be either wall mounted or cabinet mounted, into or next to the system in question. The solution can be up to IP65 protected.
